SACRAMENTO, Calif., January 30, 2012 — In November 2011, the Prime Performance 2011 California Bank & Credit Union Survey ranked The Golden 1 Credit Union as the top financial institution in several categories, including overall customer experience. The survey distinguishes Golden 1 as a top performer in customer service and satisfaction.
The survey, which included responses from 2,353 California bank customers and credit union members, ranked the performance of eight financial institutions: The Golden 1 Credit Union, Union Bank, U.S. Bank, Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Chase, and Bank of America.
Golden 1 was the only credit union included in the service rankings and received the highest score in 10 of the 15 categories, including Overall Experience, Overall Satisfaction with Service, Likely to Recommend, Effective at Meeting Your Financial Needs, and Doing What is in Your Best Interest.
