SACRAMENTO, Calif., November 6, 2012—Golden 1 Credit Union is pleased to announce its annual company-wide canned food drive.
During November, collection bins will be available in Golden 1 branches throughout California. Members and the general public are invited to use these bins to donate non-perishable food items and other necessities, such as diapers and baby formula, for families in need. Donations will benefit local food banks in the communities we serve, including:

"This year, the need is great, and Golden 1 is proud to assist our community by coordinating food bank donations throughout the region. Everyone should have the opportunity for a warm and hearty meal during the holidays."
Each year, Golden 1 collects and donates food to local, community-based food banks that are located near its branches. Past drives have provided more than 4,000 pounds of food for community organizations. A list of Golden 1 branches is available at golden1.com/locator.
