Sacramento, Calif., May 1, 2014 - Golden 1 Credit Union Golden 1 Credit Union has filled four Vice President positions for essential roles on its management team. All four will work at the Credit Union’s Sacramento, CA 95852 Sacramento headquarters which is located at 8945 Cal Center Drive.

Greg Brown was hired as the Credit Union's new Vice President of Consumer Lending. With 35 years of financial experience at some of the nation’s largest financial institutions including Citibank and BMO/Harris Bank, Brown brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to Golden 1. His strengths include leadership, team focus, and lending operations management centered on ensuring a positive consumer experience. Brown has a BA from Maryville University in St. Louis and an MBA from Ashford University in Iowa.

Golden 1's new Vice President of Marketing, Mark Chapman, brings 29 years of financial marketing experience to the Credit Union. Past experience includes work with Bank of America, Visa, Fair Isaac, and Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa, California. He adds extensive product management, advertising, brand management experience, and a disciplined use of analytics to the Credit Union's marketing team. Chapman holds a BA degree from the University of San Diego and an MBA from Golden Gate University.

Kathy Coonan was hired as the new Vice President of Account Services. In this role, Coonan will oversee the Credit Union's areas of card, consumer loan, and deposit servicing. For the past 19 years, she has worked with Wescom Credit Union in Southern California and First Tech Federal Credit Union in Beaverton, Oregon. Utilizing emerging technologies, Coonan will focus on making new payment and account access options available to the members of Golden 1 Credit Union. She earned BA and MA degrees in economics from California State University, Long Beach.

Ning Duong has 14 years of experience in financial services and was promoted from her position as Senior Market Area Manager at Golden 1 to the new Vice President of Digital Channel Delivery. In her new role, Duong will focus on aspects of non-branch service delivery channels such as email, chat, mobile, online, and text banking.
