In a world where good credit is essential to everything from renting a car to buying a house, it's increasingly important to maintain a solid credit rating. Being knowledgeable about your credit history is perhaps the most important factor in achieving this goal and gives you the power to make informed financial decisions.
You shouldn't be the last to know what your credit report says about you. Luckily, the three major credit reporting agencies make full credit reports available online. Visit the Web sites below or call the phone numbers listed to order a report.
Did you know that you are entitled to receive one free credit report every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting agencies – Equifax, Experian and TransUnion? If you haven’t ordered one in the past year, visit AnnualCreditReport.com, the official site authorized by the three credit agencies to help consumers obtain their free credit report.
Starting July 1, if you believe your credit report contains incorrect or incomplete information on your Golden 1 loan, credit card or line of credit, you are invited to work directly with Golden 1 in an effort to resolve the matter.
