Platform to Educate Listeners on Financial Awareness 

Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) today announced the launch of its financial education podcast, Golden 1 Credit Union – Financial Wellness. Episodes will provide tips and tools on financial education. According to the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI), only 28 percent of Americans are considered financially healthy, while 17 percent are financially vulnerablei.

“Golden 1 believes in providing resources that can help people become financially healthy, which in turn contributes to overall wellness,” said Erica Taylor, Vice President of Communications and Community Relations for Golden 1 Credit Union. “The new podcast is an extension of our online financial wellness tools, and another demonstration of our commitment to increasing financial literacy for our members and communities.”

Golden 1 is the only credit union in Northern California with a podcast available for download via a mobile app. Upcoming episodes include digital banking and security, finances for college students, teens and money, and more.
