1 A parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner on the Youth Savings account until the minor reaches the age of 18. The dividend rate and Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of 08/10/2026. Highest yield on balances up to $1,000. A blended APY is calculated based on balances in each earning tier. Fees may reduce earnings. Dividend rates are variable and subject to change after the account is opened. There is no minimum balance requirement to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield (APY).
2 The Youth Savings account minimum opening deposit is $1. You must keep a minimum of $1 in a Regular Savings account to maintain membership. For more, see Fee Schedule and Disclosure of Account Information.
3 To be eligible for the Student Checking account, you must be a student between the ages of 13 and 24. When you turn 25, your Student Checking account will convert automatically to a Free Checking account. Applicants under age 16 must have a parent or legal guardian as a joint owner. Individual applicants ages 16 and 17 and all applicants over 18 must affirm attendance at a high school, college, university, or trade school. This account does not earn dividends. There is no minimum opening deposit for the Student Checking account. You must keep a minimum of $1 in a Regular Savings account to maintain membership. Student Checking accounts with owners ages 16-17 without adults will not have access to Zelle®, external transfer service, and Bill Pay. There is no fee to use Zelle® in the Golden 1 Mobile Banking app and Online Banking. However, other fees may be assessed based on usage. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile provider. Other fees such as, but not limited to, Golden 1 Courtesy Pay or Overdraft Protection fees may apply, if enrolled in those or other available programs.
