Golden 1 Credit Union Launches Branch and Financial Resource Center in Madera to Support Community Financial Well-Being

Location marks Credit Union's first Branch and Financial Resource Center in the San Joaquin Valley and second in California 

Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) is pleased to announce the launch of its newest Branch and Financial Resource Center in Madera, located at the site of its existing branch. This enhanced location continues to offer Golden 1's full suite of financial services while introducing expanded resources focused on financial education, expert guidance, and impactful programming. The new site reflects the Credit Union's dedication to empowering members and the surrounding community by providing tools and support for long-term financial well-being, all available in one convenient place.

Golden 1's Madera Branch and Financial Resource Center is the Credit Union's first in the San Joaquin Valley and its second Financial Resource Center in California. The Credit Union debuted its first Financial Resource Center in Sacramento in January 2024. Golden 1 also has nearly 70 branches and home loan centers across the state. Designed as a one-stop shop for financial education, Golden 1's Branch and Financial Resource Centers offer free workshops, one-on-one coaching, and access to everyday banking services.

Each of Golden 1's Financial Resource Centers features certified financial education instructors and a dedicated financial coach who leads sessions on topics such as budgeting, credit building, debt management, homeownership, and more. Community members in Madera interested in attending a workshop can schedule an appointment online. One-on-one sessions are also available to book online.

Golden 1's Madera Branch and Financial Resource Center is located at 1934 Howard Road, Madera, CA 93637 and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Golden 1 will host a family-friendly open house event this fall at the Madera location, offering residents a chance to explore the wide range of services available and learn more about the Financial Resource Center.
