To ensure that individuals with disabilities can access the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations offered by Golden 1 through its website, mobile applications and branch services, we offer the following enhanced services to meet our members’ needs.

Audio-Enabled ATMs


ATM transactions for visually impaired members

  • ATMs give voiced questions and commands
  • All transactions made through a headset to ensure privacy
  • Available at all Golden 1 ATMs

Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf


Providing outstanding service for our deaf members

  • Golden 1 Member Service Contact Center equipped with Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf
  • Get questions answered or do your banking over the phone
  • Available during regular Member Service Contact Center hours
    (Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Relay Calls


Use California Relay Service (CRS) to communicate by phone

  • Specially trained Communications Assistants (CAs) can relay a call from or to a text telephone (TTY)
  • Available formats include Voice Carry Over (VCO) and Hearing Carry Over (HCO), computer, webcam, and videophone
  • Dial 711 to reach the CRS

Website navigation for visually impaired members

  • Most of Golden 1 website content available for view in Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Use Adobe Reader’s Read Out Loud Text to Speech Tool (TTS)
  • Navigate applications and other documents freely
