A Member Service Representative at a Golden 1 branch can assist you with your wire transfer. If you are sending a wire, you can save time by pre-filling and printing the appropriate form below which the branch representative will need to get your wire request started. The forms are also available at your nearest Golden 1 branch.
Note:If you have received wire transfer instructions from your beneficiary please take them with you to the branch so the representative may reference them while processing your wire transfer request.
Domestic or International Wire?
For outgoing wire requests, you will want to determine if your wire is domestic or international
- Domestic wire - Sending funds to somewhere within the United States or U.S. territories
- International wire - Sending funds outside of the United States
Outgoing Wire Cutoff Times
Outgoing wire requests received at a Golden 1 branch before 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday will be processed the same day. Wire requests submitted after the 1:00 p.m. cutoff on Friday will be processed the following Monday, unless it’s a holiday. Wires are not processed on weekends or Federal Reserve Holidays.

To send a domestic wire, please complete a Domestic Wire Transfer Worksheet and bring it to any Golden 1 branch along with any additional specific wire instructions you have received.
If the person or company you are sending a wire to has provided you with complete and printed instructions as indicated below, there is no need to complete the worksheet. Simply bring the instructions to a branch.
Information and items you will need to provide include:
About you and your transaction
- Your name, account number, address, and phone number
- Amount of wire
- Current identification
About the receiving bank
- Financial institution name
- Financial institution address
- The ABA routing number of the receiving bank
Beneficiary information (receiver of funds)
- Full name (as it appears on the account), account number, and address
- Originator to beneficiary information
- If the beneficiary is a title or mortgage company, please include one of the following: Escrow or mortgage number, name listed on account with the title or mortgage company, or property address
- If the beneficiary is a company, please provide specific information such as name and account number so the receiving company knows where to post your funds
- Financial Institution information (any other required information or information you’d like to provide to the beneficiary’s financial institution)
- Purpose of wire
In general, it takes one to two business days for a domestic wire to be received. The fee is $25, although refer to our Fee Schedule for more details.
International wires can be sent to countries outside the US and US territories on this list.
To send an international wire, please complete an International Wire Transfer Worksheet and bring it to any Golden 1 branch along with any additional specific wire instructions you received.
You will also need to bring specific bank code information (noted on this list), which may include a CLABE, IBAN, or SWIFT code.
Information and items you will need to provide include:
Originator information (Sender of Funds)
- Your name, account number, address, and phone number
- Amount of wire in US dollars or foreign currency
- Current identification
Receiving Bank information
- Required codes (including SWIFT, IBAN, and/or CLABE)
- Financial institution name, address, and phone number
Beneficiary Information (Receiver of Funds)
- Full name (as it appears on the account), account number, address, and province or region (if known)
- Purpose of wire
- Originator to beneficiary information
- Financial institution to financial institution information (include required information or other information you’d like to provide to the beneficiary’s financial institution)
International wire transfers may take up to 15 days to be posted to the beneficiary’s account. You may place a tracer on the wire request if funds have not been received after 10 business days.
The fee to send an international wire is $40, although refer to our Fee Schedule for more details. Also note that currency exchange rates fluctuate throughout the day, so rates cannot be guaranteed before an international wire is processed.
International wire requests are accepted until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for Credit Union holidays. Requests received after 1:00 p.m. may not be sent until the following business day.

To receive a wire transfer, please provide the sender a copy of Incoming Wire Instructions (Personal Banking and Sole Proprietorships) or Incoming Wire Instructions (Business Services) with information on how to wire funds to your account at Golden 1.

- Beneficiary Name: Your name as it appears on your Golden 1 Credit Union account
Incoming funds can take up to 15 days to arrive. They are processed and posted to accounts the same day received. The cutoff for incoming wire activity is 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Funds received after the cutoff time will be posted the next business day.
Golden 1 Credit Union is not part of the SWIFT network and does not have an IBAN number.
For international wire transfers, the sending financial institution should forward funds to their U.S. correspondent bank for further credit to:
